Contents Pages Summary – Government Guidance for Employers and Workplaces

The amount of information published from the Government in response to the coronavirus pandemic, while aiming to be helpful, is overwhelming and it can be difficult to find the right information.  Add to that, the information is being updated or moved on a regular basis and it can be very hard to find what you’re looking for.

Here Embrace HR provides a summary of key information for employers (click on the website link to go directly to the relevant page), although there is a lot more in terms of funding and financial information (see the link to a summary under General Guidance or speak to your accountant for help in these matters.  If you don’t have a good accountant get in touch with us and we can provide referrals.

Coronavirus Job Retention (Furlough) Scheme Information

On 12 May, the Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced that the CJRS scheme will be extended until the end of October.  The ability to part-furlough employees came in from 1st July.  Employers have to contribute to the scheme from August on a gradually increasing scale.
